I found my 1st hidden bug today! I have conducted numerous sweeps on residential properties and vehicles and not to mention my own home. It’s exciting to begin a search because I get so much adrenaline built up in hopes to actually locate some GOOD spy equipment. But as usual we end up telling the client they are good to go and we did not find anything. Not today…….I located one! When we conduct a professional countermeasure sweep it takes time. It might take an hour or more to conduct a physical search on just a vehicle to make sure what we hit is an actual eavesdropping device or just another radio signal. Not only that, in most areas we sweep, the airways are flooded with radio signals and it's not uncommon to get as many as a dozen or more false alerts in just one small area. Most of our searching is done by an electronic measures scanning device and after a full scan is completed a manual search is then completed.
If and when an employee of ECC locates an electronic eavesdropping device the client will be notified immediately. Before anyone removes the eavesdropping device photographs should be obtained of the area and the device for legal purposes. For legal and safety purposes ECC is not allowed to remove these devices for you.
